You don’t have to accept everything I say, but please don’t discuss for too long. The refugees cannot be able to hold on for a long time without water, electricity and food.
Israel has retaliated enough. The number of Palestinians killed in the bombings far exceeds the Israelis killed in this recent Hamas attack. Therefore, my earlier suggestion of evacuating to the west bank of Jordan river includes Hamas members.
This is a more long-term consideration, and the evacuation process will also take longer time. Of course, supporters of Hamas will wonder why they should evacuate instead of Israel, and there are also calls for Israel to withdraw to the US. You need to take into account that staying in Gaza will lead to continuous conflicts. Moreover, is Gaza considered a part of Palestinian state? Or is there a need to establish two separate Palestinian states? It’s not easy to manage an enclave, and this could be a trigger for future conflicts. Gaza is already overcrowded and small; you yourselves have referred to it as an “open-air prison.” I personally don’t see the reason to insist on staying.
So, what I mean is: US military and UN peacekeeping force open an evacuation corridor to evacuate people in Gaza to Palestine state, including Hamas. Set up a few points along the way to inspect whether anyone is carrying weapons. It doesn’t matter if Hamas leaves in the crowd.
Currently, there is an urgent need to evacuate refugees to other areas. Perhaps temporarily and quickly finding a place nearby to build refugee camps. In the long run, it would be better to a complete piece of land bordering the west bank of Jordan river for Palestine to establish a state, incorporating people of Gaza. Israel can build a high wall along the border with Palestine, and Palestine can build bridges across Jordan river for passage. Hamas can integrate into the Palestinian government, perhaps in departments like Ministry of Defense or Police or whatever. Afterwards, both countries interfere with each other no longer.
As for removing Israelis to the US …, you also know this is just an angry talk and actually difficult to achieve.
